the motion between time 0-2.5sec is accelerated accelerated motion since the slope of VT graph is positive.
and during 7.5 to 10 secondsit is an retarded motion since the slope of VT graph is negative.....
between 4 and 7 the time interval is 2 seconds and there is and constant velocity of 1 m/s therefore , acceleration is
velocity/ change in time=
1/2=0.5m/S2...(ans)
and in between 7.5 and 10 seconds the change in time =10 - 7.5 which is equal to 2.5 seconds and change in velocity is is 1 - zero which is one metre per second therefore since acceleration is change in velocity upon change in time therefore the acceleration is is 2.5 upon 1 which is equal to 2.5 metre per second square....(ans).
