The velocity time graphs of two bodies A and B is shown in the figure below. Observe these graphs
carefully and answer the following questions:

a. What is the nature of motion of A and B?
b. What are the initial velocities of A and B?

Here you go :

a. The nature of motion of A can be clearly seen as Accelerated Motion.(Why accelerated?)

The velocity (on y-axis) is constantly increasing with the increase in time (on x-axis).

(why constantly increasing?) Because the v-t graph of the motion of A is a straight line.

Similarly, The nature of motion of B is accelerated motion, but the acceleration is in negative direction, so we can say that B's nature of motion is Retardation motion or De-Accelerated Motion.

(Why declaration?) Because the velocity is clearly seen to be decreasing w.r.t. time.

b.From the graph, Initial velocity of A = 0 m/s

And initial velocity of B =30m/s.

Hope this helps !
