Answer:

d =  \frac{v}{t}  \\ at \: 4sec \: the \: velocity \: is \: 0 \: so -  \\ d =  \frac{0}{4}  \\ d = 0

First find the area of the first triangle. Consider the area A1 :-

1/2(base)(height)

⟶ Base is from 0 to 3 that is 3 [3 - 0 = 3] (x axis)

⟶ Height is from 0 to 2 that is 2 [2 - 0 = 2] (y axis)

so, 1/2(3)(2)

= 3

Then find the area of the second triangle. Consider the area A2:-

1/2(base)(height)

⟶ base is from 3 to 4 that is 1 [4 - 3 = 1](x axis)

⟶ height is from 0 to -2 that is [ -2 - 0 = -2] (y axis) but we will not consider minus( - ) here as we are just counting the units that are in between so there is no concept of negative. So here value of height is 2

1/2(1)(2)

=1

\huge{\red{\sf{\boxed{\boxed{Displacement\:=A1\:-A2}}}}}

⟶ Displacement = 3m - 1m

⟶ Displacement = 2m
