The vertical angle of an isocelous triangle is twice the sum of it's base angles.find each angle

let base angles be x degrees each. this implies the vertical angle=2*(x+x)=4x
now 4x+x+x=180
6x=180
thus x=30
so the angles are 30 degrees 30degrees and 120 degrees
