Given - Vertical angle with respect to base angle

Find - Angles

Solution - The triangle is isosceles, hence, the two base angles will be the same. Let the base angle be x. Forming equation as per the given information -

x + x + x + 30 = 180

Performing addition

3x + 30 = 180

Shifting 30 to another side of the equation and performing subtraction

3x = 180 - 30

3x = 150

Shifting 3 to another side of the equation and performing division

x = 150/3

x = 50

Base angle = 50°

Vertical angle = x + 30

Vertical angle = 50 + 30

Vertical angle = 80°

So, all the angles of the triangle are 50°, 50° and 80°.
