We know that the vector when represented on a graph is the slope of the graph.....

Also slope=tanA (A is the angle made by the vector with the x-axis)

tanA=Vy/Vx

   where Vy and Vx are the components of Velocity along x and y axis.

Since Vy=Vx

tanA=1

=>A=45 degree
