Hii dear,

# Answer- θ = 45°

## Explaination-
# Given-
x = y

# Solution-
Consider a vector A with horizontal component x and vertical component y.
Angle made by vector A with horizontal is given by,
tanθ = vertical component / horizontal component
tanθ = y/x
tanθ = x/x
tanθ = 1
Taking inverse,
θ = 45°

Angle made by X-axis is 45°.

Hope this helps you...

If θ is the angle made by a vector A with x-axis .

X-component of A =Ax=A Cos θ

Y component of A =Ay=A sinθ

But as per the question Ax=Ay

A cosθ=A sinθ

tan θ=1

θ=45°
