the vertical Ray's of the sun give more insolation then the slanting Ray's .This is more because the vertical Ray's cover less surface area and are concentrated in a small particular region whereas the slating Ray's are vice -versa.

because vertical rays only falls on a concentric area . As a result more Sunrays fall on that place,which gives more insolation.


while slanting rays covers a large area and Sunrays get equally distributed.as a result insolation is less.



Example: In afternoon when vertical rays fall we feel hot

In morning slanting rays fall we didn't feel hot.
