The vertices of a quadrilateral ABCD taken in order are A(2,4), B(-1,5), C(-3,4) and D(-2,2).
Show that AD is perpendicular to CD.​

Answer:

Since opposite sides are equal in length and sides are perpendicular to each other, the quadrilateral ABCD is a rectangle.

Also length of rectangle is AB=CD=5units

and breadth of rectangle is AD=BC=7units

So Area of the rectangle =length×breadth=5×7=35squnits
