here initial angular velocity, ω0 = 0

final angular velocity, ω = 33.3 rpm = 33.3 × 2π/60 rad/s [ 1 rpm = 2π/60 rad/s ]

= 66.6π/60 = 1.11π rad/s

time taken , t = 5 sec

using formula, ω = ω0 + αt

⇒1.11π = 0 + α × 5

⇒α = 1.11π/5 = 0.697 ≈ 0.7 rad/s

therefore angular acceleration of vinyl record is 0.7 rad/s.
