"I descend to lave the droughts, atomies, dust - layers of the globe,

And all that in them without me were seeds only, latet,

unborn;

And forever, by day and night, I give back life to my

own origin,

3).The last line means that the rain keeps making the earth pure and beautiful.
4).In the poem 'I' describes the story of rain itself.
5).It's like a song. The poet here compares rain to a songbird.
