Answer: 50 cos (100t+60) sin (100t +60)

Given :

 I = 5 sin (100t +60) A

V = 10 cos (100t+60) V

Solution:

Wkt,

         Voltage = V_m sin (\omega t+\Theta_1)

         Current = I_m sin (\omega t+\Theta_2)

In an AC circuit, complex power is given by,

         Power = Voltage  \times  Current \times  cos\Theta

Since voltage and current are out of phase, cos\Theta < 1

Lets take it as 1,

         Power = 10 cos (100t+60) \times 5 sin (100t +60) = 50 cos (100t+60) sin (100t +60)
