Given:

Av = 40dB

β = 3%

To find:

Determine the new voltage gain if  3% negative feedback is introduced.

Solution:

β = 3% = 3 / 100 = 0.03

Formula used:

Avf = Av / (1 + βAv)

Avf = 40 / (1 + 0.03 × 40)

Avf = 40 / (1 + 1.2)

Avf = 40 / 2.2

Avf = 18.182

Therefore, the new voltage gain if  3% negative feedback is introduced is 18.182
