Hi friend, Here's the required answer:-
It is given that the volume (V) and Surface Area (SA) of a sphere is equal.
Let the radius of the sphere be 'x'.
So, V= 4/3π(r)³= 4/3πx³.
And, SA = 4πr²=4πx².
According to question,
V=SA
4/3πx³= 4πx²
1/3x³=x²
x³=3x²
x³/x²=3
x=3
Hope this helped u...

Anonymous: I think r= 3
Anonymous: x= 3 because x^2 and X^3 be cancel and remaining x= 3
Anonymous: But I think that x² and x³ can't be cancelled
Anonymous: yes they should be cancel
Anonymous: u can write r x r x r/r x r= r
Anonymous: Right thnx

Hi friend,
the volume of sphere= \frac{4}{3}  \pi
Total surface area of sphere=4 \pi
and,ATQ
 \frac{4}{3}  \pi r³=4 \pi
 \frac{4}{3} r=4
r=3
