hey there

CO2 = 12 + 2(16) = 12 + 32 = 44

the volume occupied by 44 g = 22.4l

the volume occupied by 1 g = 22.4/44

the volume occupied by 4.4 g

= 22.4 x 4.4/44

= 22.4 x 1/10

= 2.24l

the correct answer -

C) 2.24 L

At STP
1 mol of any gas occupies 22.4 Litre

Molar mass of CO₂ is 44 g/mol
Moles of CO₂ gas = 4.4 g / (44 g/mol) = 0.1 mol

We have 0.1 mol of CO₂ gas.
Therefore it will occupy volume = 22.4 / 0.1 = 2.24 L

(c) is the correct option.
