The volume of 2.9 gram of a gas at 25℃ is the same as the colume of 0.2g of H2 at 17℃ and same pressure.What is the molecular weight of the gas?​

given volume is constant and pressure is same. N*T has to be constant.

for unknown gas N*T= 2.9*298/x where x=molecular weight, T in Kelvin.

Hydrogen gas N*T= 0.2*290/2.

2.9*298/x = 0.2*290/2

simplifying for x gives x = 29.8 g
