The volume of 50g of a substance is 20cm³. If the density of water is 1g/cm³,will the substance float or sink?

In the above case, m=50g and v=20 cm^3

density = mass/volume

density = 50/20 g/cm^3 we will get 2.5 g/cm^3 so, it is above the density of water that is why the substance will sink
