The volume of 50g of sealed packet is 250cm^3. Will the packet float or sink in the water. If the density of water is 1g cm^3 ? What will be the mass of water displaced by this packet???

Can someone solve this question for me........

amount of water displaced = Vdg
=1×250×10
=2500units

_/\_Hello mate__here is your answer--

⭐ CONCEPT:-- If the density of an object is more than the density of a liquid, then it sinks in the liquid. On the other hand, if the density of an object is less than the density of a liquid, then it floats on the surface of the liquid.

Mass of packet, M = 50 g

Volume of packet,V = 250g/cm^3

Dencity of sealed packet =M/V

= 50 /250

= 0.2 g/cm^3

The density of the substance is less than the density of water (1 g/cm3). Hence, it will float on the surface of water.

The mass of water displaced by the packet is equal to the volume of the packet, i.e., 250 g.

I hope, this will help you.☺

Thank you______❤
