formula for volume of rod (V) = π x r x r x h (rod is cylinder so we can use cylinder volume formula ) ( here r square is written as r x r )

where,
V = volume of rod in cubic cm
π = 22/7 or 3.14
r = radius of rod in cm
h = length of rod in cm

here
V = 1386 cubic cm
π = 22/7 or 3.14
r = ? cm
h = 1 m = 100 cm
sub in formula
1386 = 3.14 x r x r x 100
1386 = 314 x r x r
take 314 as left side
(1386 / 314) = (r^2)
r^2 = (1386 / 314)
r^2 = 4.414
r = square root (4.414)
square goes to another side it will convert as square root vice versa
r = 2.1 cm
radius is 2.1 cm
diameter = 2 x radius
diameter = 2 x 2.1
diameter = 4.2 cm
