Given:-

  • Volume (v) = 4cm³

  • Mass (m) = 40g

To Find:-

  • Relative Density (D)

Solution:-

Firstly we convert the mass of substance in kg

1Kg = 1000g

∴ 40g = 40/1000 = 4/100kg

And

1m³ = 10⁶

∴ 4cm³ = 4/10⁶ m³

Now , We know that

→ Density = mass/volume

→ D = m/v

Substitute the value we get

→ D = 0.04 ×10⁶/4

→ D = 4×10⁴/4

→ D = 10⁴kg/m³

The Relative density is 10kg/.
