The volume of a 500 g sealed packet is 350 cm3. What will be the mass of the water displaced by this packet?​

Density = mass / volume

Density of packet = 500 / 350

= 1.42 g/cm3

hence, as we know that if a body have higher density than the density of substance in which the body is going to immerse then the body will sink.

in this case density of packet is more than the density of water so, packet will sink.

Since, packet's density is greater than water, So it will sink in water and will displace an equal volume of water.

Thus, mass of water displaced = volume × density = 350 x 1 = 350 g
