The volume of a block of gold is 40 cubic meter. If it is hamered into a sheet to cover an area of 1 hectare.Find the thickness of sheet.

Here is your answer:

Volume  of golden block = 40 m³

Area of the sheet = 1 hectare

           

Note: 1 hectare = 10000 m²

Now,

The thickness of the sheet is:  

⇒ Volume / Area

⇒ 40 m³/ 10000 m²

⇒ 0.004 m

The thickness is 0.004m
