Solution:

Given,

Volume  of golden block = 40 m³

Area of the sheet = 1 hectare

Note: 1 hectare = 10000 m²

Now,

The thickness of the sheet is:

⇒ Volume / Area
⇒ 40 m³/ 10000 m²
⇒ 0.004 m

Hence, The required thickness of the sheet is 0.004 metre.

Solutions :-

Given :
The volume of a block of gold = 40 m³
Area of sheet = 1 hectare = 10,000 m²

Find the thickness of sheet :-

Thickness of sheet = Volume of Block of gold / Area of Sheet
= 40/10000 = 0.004 m

Hence,
Thickness of sheet = 0.004 m
