Given :

  • Volume of the cube = \bf{0.064 \:m^3 }.

To Find :

  • Surface area.

Solution :

We know that

  •  \underline{ \boxed{ \bf{Volume \: of \:  Cube =  {a}^{ 3} }}}
  • Here , a = Edge

Substituting the given values

 \implies{ \sf {a}^{3} =0.064    } \\  \\

 \implies{ \sf {a =  \sqrt[3]{0.064} }} \\ \\

 \implies{ \sf {a =  \sqrt[3]{0.4 \times 0.4 \times 0.4} }} \\ \\

 \implies{ \sf {a =  \sqrt[3]{0.4^3 } }} \\  \\

 \implies{ \underline {\boxed{\tt {a = 0.4 \: m}}}}

Therefore, Edge is 0.4 m.

We also know that

  •  \underline{ \boxed{ \bf{Surface  \: area\:of \:  Cube =  {6a}^{ 2} }}}
  • Here , a = Edge .

 \implies{ \sf{Surface  \: area = 6 \times ( 0.4)^2}} \\  \\

\implies{ \sf{Surface  \: area = 6 \times 0.4 \times 0.4}}   \\  \\

\implies{ \sf{Surface  \: area = 6 \times 0.16}}  \\  \\

\implies{  \underline{\boxed{ \bf{Surface  \: area = 0.96 \:  m^2}}  }}

Hence, Surface area of Cube is 0.96 m².
