The volume of a cube is 0.125 cm3 ?. Find the length of its edge. If the length of the
edge is increased three times, by how many times will the volume increase?

SOLUTION :-
- We will find the egde of the cube as Volume is given (0.125cm³).
- Then we will increase the edge by 3 times and will find the new volume of the cube.
- We will compare former and latter volumes and we can find how many times it is increased.
Volume = 0.125cm³
Volume = edge³
→ 0.125 = edge³
→ edge = ³√0.125
→ egde = 0.5cm
Hence , edge of the cube is 0.5cm.

Now , edge is increased 3 times.
♦ New edge = 3(0.5)
♦ New edge = 1.5cm
♦ New Volume of cube = 1.5³
♦ New Volume of cube = 3.375cm³

So,
