Given: volume of cube is 216 cm^3

sides of cube:

a^3=216

a=6

hence ,side=6 cm

=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

Now ,When sides are doubled

Side=6×2=12cm

volume =1728 cm^3

Volume of cube = 216
side of cube      = 6
when the sides are twice,
side of cube      = 6 * 2     = 12
volume of cube = 12 * 12 * 12
                         = 1728

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU.
