Answer:

Volume of a cube = (edge )³

Volume of the cube = 64 cm³ .

So, (egde)³ = 64

= edge = ³√64

= edge = 4 .

∴The length of its edge is 4 cm .

The length of the cube's edge is 4cm.

Given:

Volume of the cube = 64cm

To Find:

Length of its edge.

Solution:

The volume of a cube is the number of cubic units, occupied by the cube completely.

If the length, width, and height of the cube are equal to ‘a’, then;

The volume of the cube = a \times a \times a

\implies V = a^3\\\\\implies 64 = a^3\\\\\implies \sqrt[3]{4}  = a^3\\\\\implies a = 4

Therefore the edge of the cube is 4cm.
