Volume of a cube is “a^3”
a^3=64
a=cube root of 64 that if 4
So the length of the side of the cube will be 4m
Now,surface area of a cube is 6a^2
=6*(4)^2
=6*16
=96m^2

Given :-

Volume of a cube = 64 m³

To Find :-

• Surface area of a cube

Formula to find surface area of a cube :-

Surface area = 6 × (Side)²

Solution :-

Let us firstly find the side of a cube

As we know,

Volume = (Side)³

And we know that Volume is 64 m³

⟹ 64 = (Side)³

⟹ (4)³ = (Side)³

⟹ 4 = Side

Now, as we know side = 4 m

We will apply the Formula :

Surface area = 6 × (Side)²

= 6 × (4)²

= 6 × 16

= 96 m²

✵ Required Answer ✵

Surface area of the cube = 96 m²
