Hi ,
Let side of the cube = a cm
volume of the cube ( v ) = 729 cm³
a³ = 729 cm³
a³ = ( 9 cm )³
a = 9 cm
Total surface area of the cube = 6a²
A = 6 × 9²
A = 6 × 81
A = 486 cm²
I hope this helps you.

Hey
Volume = 729 cm^3
Since its a cube, we can find its sides
Volume = a^3 = 729
a = cube root of 729 = 9 cm.
Total surface area = ?
= 6 × a^2
= 6 × (9)^2
= 6 × 81
= 486 sq.cm
