Hey there !

Solution

Volume of cube = a³

Here 'a' represents the side of the cube.

Given that,

a³ = 729 cm³

=> a = ∛ 729 = 9 cm

So each side of cube is 9 cm.

Now we must find the Surface area of the Cube:

Total Surface Area = 6a²

=> Total Surface Area of Cube = 6 × ( 9² )

=> Total Surface Area of Cube = 6 × 81 = 486 cm².

Lateral Surface Area = 4a²

=> Lateral Surface Area of Cube = 4 × ( 9² )

=> Lateral Surface Area of Cube = 4 × 81

=> Lateral Surface Area of Cube = 324 cm²

These are the required solutions.

Hope my answer helped !

aryan4112: sorry . the best try from you is not correct . it is 486sq.cm
BrainlyHulk: There is no need of find lateral surface area ... ^_^
