Given:

  • The volume of a cube is double the volume of a cuboid.

  • the volume of the cuboid is 2.916 cm cube.

To find out:

Find the length of an edge of cube.

Formula used:

Volume of cube = (side)³

Solution:

According to question:-

Volume of cube = 2 (Volume of cuboid)

= 2 ( 2.912)

= 5.824

Now,

Volume of cube = (side)³

➱5.824 = (side)³

➱side = ³√5.824

➱side = 1.799 cm

GIVEN:

Volume of a cube is double the volume of a cuboid.

Volume of cuboid = 2.916cm³

TO FIND:

Length of an edge of cube.

SOLUTION:

Volume of cube is double the volume of cuboid.

Volume of cube = 2 × 2.916

= 5.832cm³

We know that,

The volume of cube = a³ = 5.832

a = ³√5.832

a = 1.79cm

Therefore, the length of edge of cube is 1.79cm
