Question

There volume of a cube is 17.576cm³ . Find the length of an edge of the cube.

Answer

Given,

Volume of a cube = 17.576cm³

Solution:-

Let the edge be 'a'

We have,

Volume of a cube = 17.576

a³ = 17.576

=> a³ = (26)³

=> a = 26

Edge = 26cm

Or

From the cube formula,

We have,

Volume of a cube = 17.576

Edges of a cube = ³V

= ³17.576

= 26cm

To know

Volume of a cube = a³

Surface area of a cube = 6a²

Edges of a cube = ³V

Diagonal of a cube = 3a

we \: know \: volume \: of \: cube \: is \: a \times 3 \\ so \: a \times 3 = 17.576 \\ a =  \sqrt{} {17.576}  \\ a = 2.6
