Volume of cubical room

= 729 m³ .


Now ,


we know that ,

volume of cube = a³


So ,


a³ = 729


=> a² = ( 9 )³


=> a = 9


Side of cubical room = 9 m


Now ,


Area of it's 4 walls =

It means it's lateral surface area


So


LSA = 4 ( a ) ²


= 4 ( 9 ) ²


= 4 ( 81 )


= 324 m²


So ,


Cost of whitewashing 1 m² = Rs 15


Cost of whitewashing 324 m²


= Rs ( 324 * 15 )


= Rs 4860
