The volume of a cuboid having breadth is double of the height and length is double of the breadth is 512 m cube . Find the area of the base.​

Let the height of the cuboid = x unit.

Then its breadth = 2 x unit

and its length = 4 x unit

Volume = (4 x) × (2 x) × (x) = 8 x³ unit³

Now

8 x³ = 512; ==> x³ = 64; ==> x = 4 unit

Length of the cuboid = 16 unit

Breadth of the cuboid = 8 unit

Height of the cuboid = 4 unit

Area of the base = length × breadth = 16 unit × 8 unit = 128 unit².
