The volume of a cuboid is 1296 m^3 . if its length and breadth be 16 m and 13.5 m respectively

. Find its height.

\bf\orange{AnsweR:-}

Given :-

  • Volume of a cuboid = 1,296 m^3
  • Length = 16 m
  • Breadth = 13.5 m

To find :-

Height of the cuboid.

Solution:-

As we know that,

Volume of a cuboid = Length × breadth × Height.

\longrightarrow\bf{1,296\:m^3= 16\times13.5\times\:height}

\longrightarrow\bf{1,296\:m^3= 216\times\:hieght}

\longrightarrow\bf{\dfrac{1296}{216}= height}

Height = 6 m.

Verification:-

Volume = Length × Breadth × Height

1,296 m^3  = 16 × 13.5 × Height

We can insert the value of height in that place now.

Then,

⇒ 1,296 = 16 × 13. 5 × 6

⇒ 1,296 = 1,296

⇒ LHS = RHS

Hence proved !!
