Height - Cuboid

Volume of Cuboid is defined as the quantity of three dimensional space enclosed by a boundary. The volume of an object is measured in cubic units.

\boxed{\bf{Volume_{(cuboid)} = l \times b \times h}}

where, l is the length, b is the breadth and h is the height of the cuboid.

We are given the value of volume, length and breadth of the cuboid and we are supposed to calculate the height of the cuboid.

We know that, the volume of cuboid is equal the product of length, breadth and height of the cuboid. i.e.

\implies \boxed{\bf{Volume_{(cuboid)} = l \times b \times h}}

By substituting the given values in the formula, we get:

\implies 252 = 12 \times 7 \times h \\ \\ \implies 252 = 84h \\ \\ \implies h = \cancel{\dfrac{252}{84}} \\ \\ \implies \boxed{\bf{h = 3}}

Hence, the height of the cuboid is 3m.

Given :-

Volume of cuboid = 252 cm³

Length = 12 cm

Width = 7 cm

To Find :-

Height

Solution :-

We know that

Volume of a cuboid = lbh

Let the height be h

252 = 12 × 7 × h

252 = 84 × h

252/84 = h

3 = h

Hence,

Height of cuboid is 3 cm
