Volume of the cuboid = Length ( h ) X Breadth ( b ) X Height ( h ) = 440 cm3

Therefore : l X b X h = 440 cm3

Area of base = l X b = 88 cm2

Therefore : 88 X h = 440 cm3

=> h = (440/88) = 5 cm

Answer: Height= 5 cm .

Given :

Volume of the cuboid = 440 cm³

Area of the base = 88 cm²

To Find :

Height of the cuboid

Solution :

We know, Area of the base = Length (L) × Breadth (B)

∴ L × B = 88 cm²

Now, Volume of the cuboid = L × B × H

Where, L = Length; B = Breadth and H = Height

∴ Volume of the cuboid = Area of the base × Height

⇒      440                         =  88 × H

⇒      H                             =   5 cm

Therefore, the height of the cuboid is found to be 5 cm.
