Answer:

volume of cuboid = l×b×h

72 = l× 4.5 × 2

l = 72/9

l = 8cm

hope it's helpful

The volume of a cuboid is 72 cm cube. If its breadth is 4.5 cm and height 2 cm, find its length .

║⊕ANSWER⊕║

SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW FIRST

Volume of cuboid = lbh

TSA of a cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)

CSA of a cuboid = 2(l+b)h

SOLUTION

Volume of a cuboid = Length * Breadth * Height\\

GIVEN

Breadth = 4.5 cm

Height = 2 cm

Let the length of the cuboid be l.

l * 4.5 * 2 = 72\\l * 9 = 72\\l = 8 cm

∴The length of the cube is 8 cm.
