The volume of a cuboidal tank is 250m^3. If it's base ara is 50m^2 then find the depth of the tank

volume of cuboid- length*breadth*height

=area of base *height

therefore, in this case,

250=50*h

therefore, h=5m

therefore, depth of the tank is 5m

base \: area \:  = 50 {m}^{2}



base \: area \: of \: a \: cuboid \:  = l \times b




volume = l \times b \times h



250 = 50 \times h



h =  \frac{250}{50}



h = 5



THEREFORE THE DEPTH OF THE TANK IS 5m
