ANSWER

base area of the cuboidal tank = 50m²

since the tank is cuboidal, it's base must be rectangular.

so we can write as,

➡ Length × breadth = 50m²

now, volume of the tank given = 250m³

volume for a cuboid is Length × breadth × height

therefore Length × breadth × height = 250m³

➡ 50 × height = 250m³

➡ height = 250/50

➡ height = 5m

hence, the depth of the cuboidal tank is 5m.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of cuboid- length*breadth*height

=area of base *height

therefore, in this case,

250=50*h

therefore, h=5m

therefore, depth of the tank is 5m
