Given : The volume of a cylinder is 300 m³

To Find : the volume of a cone having the same radius and height as that of the cylinder

Solution:

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

r = radius

h = height

Volume of cone = (1/3)πr²h

r = radius

h = height

radius and height of cone and cylinder are given same

Hence : Volume of cone  = (1/3) Volume of cylinder

Volume of cylinder =  300 m³

=> Volume of cone  = (1/3) 300  m³

=> Volume of cone  = 100  m³
