given :-

height of the cylinder = 2cm

radius of the cylinder = ?

formula to find the volume if a cylinder is πr²h

➡ πr²h = 308cm³

➡ 22/7 × r² × 2 = 308cm³

➡ r² = (308 × 7)/(22 × 2)

➡ r² = (14 × 7)/2

➡ r² = 7 × 7

➡ r = √(7 × 7)

➡ r = 7cm

the radius of the cylinder is 7cm.

now we have to find it's lateral surface area.

formula to find the lateral surface area of a cylinder is 2πrh

it's lateral surface area = 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 2

= 88cm²

hence, the lateral surface area of the cylinder is 88cm².
