Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of a cylinder =pi r^2h

38500=22/7×r^2×40

3850×7/22×4=r^2

306.25=r^2

r=17.5 cm

raza78636: Answer is 35cm

volume of cylinder = 38500 cm^3

h = 40 cm

let radius be r cm

volume of cylinder :
 = \pi {r}^{2} h \\  \\ 38500 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 40 \times  {r}^{2}  \\  \\  \frac{38500 \times 7}{22}  = 40 \times  {r}^{2}  \\  \\ 1750 \times 7 = 40 \times  {r}^{2}  \\  \\  \frac{1750 \times 7}{40}  =  {r}^{2}  \\  \\  \frac{175 \times 7}{4}  =  {r}^{2} \\  \\  \frac{ \sqrt{1225} }{ \sqrt{4} }  = r \\  \\  \frac{35}{2}  = r \\  \\ r = 17.5cm

hope it helps you!
