Explanation:

let, cylinder radius r.

volume of the cylinder= πr²h cm³

here, given h= 7cm

then, according to the problem,

πr²h=448π

r²h=448

r²*7=448

r²=448/7

r²=64

r=√64=8

then, radius of the cylinder 8cm.

Given:-

  • Volume of cylinder = 448π cm³
  • Height of cylinder = 7 cm

To find:-

  • Diameter of cylinder.

\large\bf\underline\blue{SolutioN}

We know that,

\large\purple{\underline{{\boxed{\textbf{Volume\:of\: cylinder\:=\:πr²h}}}}}

In which r is Radius of cylinder and h is height of cylinder.

Put the values in formula,

↦448π = 22/7 × r² × 7

↦448× 22/7 = 22 × r²

↦9856/7 = 22 r²

↦1408 = 22r²

↦1408/22 = r²

 ↦64 =  r²

 ↦√64 = r

 ↦ 8 cm = r

Radius = 8 cm

Diameter = 2 × Radius

= 2 × 8

= 16 cm

Therefore , Diameter is 16 cm.
