• Volume of cylinder = 448π cm³

• Height of cylinder = 7cm

• What's the diameter of cylinder ?

Formula to be used :-

• Volume of cylinder = πr²h

• Diameter = 2 × Radius

Given that,

Volume of cylinder = 448π cm³

A.T.Q :-

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

⟶ πr²h = 448π

⟶ πr² × 7 = 448π

⟶ 7r² = 448π/π

⟶ 7r² = 448

⟶ r² = 64

⟶ r = √64

⟶ r = 8

Hence,

Diameter = 2 × Radius

Diameter of cylinder = 2 × 8

Diameter of cylinder = 16 cm

Know more :-

• Surface area of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

• Lateral area of cylinder = 2πrh

• Base area =πr²

• Height = V/πr²

• Radius = √ (V/πh)
