Given :- The volume of a cylinder is 300 m³ .

To Find :- The volume of a cone having the same radius and height as that of the cylinder is ?

Answer :-

Let us assume that,

  • Radius of cylinder = Radius of cone = r m .
  • Height of cylinder = Height of cone = h m .

we know that,

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h
  • Volume of cone = (1/3)πr²h .

so,

→ Volume of cylinder = 300m³

→ πr²h = 300m³ ----------- Eqn.(1)

then,

→ Volume of cone = (1/3)πr²h

putting value of Eqn.(1) ,

→ Volume of cone = (1/3) * 300

→ Volume of cone = 100 (Ans.)
