height=8cm

volume of cylinder = pi×r^2h

pi×r^2h =1232

22/7×r^2×8=1232

r^2=1232×7/22÷8

r^2=49

r=7cm

csa of cylinder =2×Pi×r×h

=2×22/7×7×8

=2×22×8

= 352cm^2
