The volume of a cylindrical bucket is 660cm3 and its height is 11cm. Find out the area of the base of the bucket.  ​

Simple Method:-

Volume = Area of base x height

660 11x area

660/11 = area

60cm² = area of base.

Complicated Method:-

Volume of Cylinder = r²h

660= πr²x11

660/11 = πr² 60 × 7 /22 420

= π γ2 = 22/7 r²

√420/22 = r = 4.37cm

Area = πr²= π × 420/22

Area = (22× 420)/ (7×22) = 60cm²
