Given Volume of a hemisphere = 2.25pi.

We know that Volume of the hemisphere = 2/3pir^3.

 \frac{2}{3}  \pi r^3 =  2.25  \pi

 \frac{2}{3} r^3 = 2.25

2r^3 = 2.25 * 3

2r^3 = 6.75

r^3 = 6.75/2

r^3 = 3.375

r = 1.5

We know that Total surface area of the hemisphere = 3pir^2

                                                                                        = 3 * pi * (1.5)^2

                                                                                        = 3 * pi * 1.5 * 1.5

                                                                                        = 3 * pi * 2.25

                                                                                        = 6.75pi.

Therefore the total surface area of the hemisphere = 6.75pi.

Hope this helps!
