Given that volume of a plastic sealed box=> V - 350 cm^3.

Given that mass of the plastic sealed box=> M 500 g.

▶Density M/V=> 500/350 => 1.6 g/cm^3.

▶Density of water=> 1g/cm^3

Therefore, Density of sealed box is greater than density of water.

Hence, it will sink in water.

▶Now,

Mass of the water displaced by the box-volume × density of water 350×1

=>350g...Ans..✔

Answer:

If the density of an object is greater than water ( 1 g / cm³ ) then that object will sink. If it is less than water's density, then the object will float. Hence 1.42 > 1.
